Technology

OLA continues to enhance the use of technology in the classroom. Smart Board technology is available in all classrooms from K-8 allowing the teachers and students to interact with the subject matter individually, in groups and as a class.

Students in the junior high also use “computers on wheels” mobile laptops that move from classroom to classroom, introducing students and teachers to the advantages of mobile learning, and providing students greater access to PCs.  It  is the beginning of project-based learning for some core subjects.
